Ms. Hemingway concentrates her practice on mediation of family law matters, DUI defense and criminal appeals. Her passion is helping her clients successfully proceed through the courts with the least amount of emotional strife and financial impact as possible. Ms Hemingway strives to help her clients achieve their individual goals through a collaborative, resourceful, pragmatic and compassionate approach. She has successfully represented many clients in the negotiation, litigation and resolution of their legal matters in both California and Nevada.
Ms. Hemingway is a Certified Family Law Specialist in the State of California- an achievement not accomplished by all family law attorneys. She holds a Masters in Law in Taxation and is a trained Mediator from Pepperdine University, Strauss Institute for Dispute Resolution and Mosten Guthrie mediation and collaborative law training.
Ms Hemingway was previously the District Attorney for Alpine County, California. She was also a Deputy Attorney General for the Nevada Attorney General as well as a Project Manager for the Trust for Public Land.
